High/Low

My low today: I was ashamed of my own feelings, and I had a patch of crazy in response.

My high today: I had a really good conversation that cheered me up.

OOOh, I like!!

Since today has only just begun I will do yesterday's high low.

My Low was adding a design element to a project I have been working on that I was told I had to add despite it literally ruining the concept and the flow of the work. But the guy who pays me is the guy who asked for it so I had to suck it up, compromise my aesthetic and do what i was told.

My high was running 3.5km

I'll do yesterday too

Low: Having only a day turn around on what should have been a simple project, and making something that looked like clip art threw up on it, despite not using any clip art at all and it taking hours and hours. This is what happens when I think I'm in too much of a hurry to do good concept planning.

High: Eating delicious dinner my sweet boyfriend made and not having to do a single dish because he took pity on the fancy new nail painting I just gave myself.

Low: Having to write an essay for my stupid philosophy class.

High: Getting to hear Neil Pasricha, the auther of 'The Book of Awesome', speak at my school last night! My day was going pretty badly, so his talk turned it around...and I got him to sign my book

Low: I had an ingrown toenail ripped out and it kind of hurts. Also I have a monster headache.

Low: It's too cold outside and too hot inside.

High: I got home really early today. And I got a good, quiet bus ride home, not too crowded.

Low: I made less money because there was less work today. But I made more for the amount of time I worked than I usually do.

High: I have an extra vacation day that I'm pretty sure my bad math gave to me.

Low: My bad math also makes my bank account sad :-(
