Yeah, that's how I heard about KATG too. Too bad Metalscape is more like bullshitscape now.

Now if you'll excuse me, I need to play Starcraft II on my iPod.

Found them on Podcast alley when they were somewhere on the top 10.

I'd heard one Dawn & Drew episode and thought it sounded ok. But then I heard 10 minutes of KATG and never looked back.

I was watching wacko and blotto (two literal clowns) in the rain at a festival with a friend. He said if I liked this I might like Keith and the Girl. Soon as I got to work I started listening...he was right

Same here. I listened to NLO with KATG concurrently plus Distorted View. Then I realized that NLO and DV were too weak, got into KATG. After that it seems that nothing can even try to compare. Its become a part of my evening ritual to download the newest episode. I remember the first episode was the dragon con episode. I always go back to it since it popped my podcast cherry.

Yeah, and I think the difference between Keith and Chemda has always been a huge strength, even when they were together.

Idiots who don't understand the show might accuse it of being racist or sexist or homophobic, but Chemda is nothing if not a strong woman, she's not only not straight but in a relationship with a transgender person, the guest with by far the most appearances on the show is a black woman, they've had interns of many colours, at least one of whom is a dude who enjoys the cock ...

As much as Keith and Chemda rail against the world with their words you'd have to go a loooong way to show me another podcast as tolerant by their actions as this one.

A friend of mine from high school, Jordan Carlos, had moved to New York and become a comic/actor. I think it was 2006 and I had just seen him on tv (I think it was this Pepsi commercial... or maybe on one of those VH1 clips shows.) Anyway, I thought it was so cool that he was on tv, so I was googling him, and KATG came up because he'd recently been on the show.

I had already listened to every single episode of This American Life (the only podcast I knew about) and my ears were itching for something new, so I listened to the Katg show that Jordan was on. From then on, I was hooked. I started from show #1 and listened straight through, in between listening to current shows. I caught up a few years ago.

I was listening to Regan Fox and all those guys. I was an avid fan of Poptrashradio too and they were discussing all sorts of podcast wars....I remember thinking Holy SHOT, what the hell. So I listen to Dawn and Drew then KATG...guess who's side I picked.
