Yep same with me. I used to listen to both podcasts back in 2006 but stayed faithful to KATG. I found KATG in the podcast directory on itunes when I got my first ipod in March 2006 to celebrate the one year anniversary of my first real job. I listened to the back episodes right away to catch up and am proud to say that I have listened to every single KATG podcast. I listen nearly every day while I'm at work and I don't even mind the stares I get when I'm laughing uncontrollably at something funny.

KATG was not the first podcast I listened to, that dubious honour went to Mugglecast (Don't judge me). However, because the Mugglecast crew were trying to get to the top of the list on Podcast Alley, and were asking for votes in order to knock another podcast off the top spot. This podcast was Keith and the Girl, and I decided to listen and see what all the fuss was about (around show 900). Since then, I've stopped listening to Mugglecast, but my love of KATG has never been stronger

I found Keith and the Girl through a long string of internet based entertainment. I started listening to Webcomics Weekly because I was a reader of the one guy's webcomic PVP Online. They did an interview with Merlin Mann of You Look Nice today and started listening to that. They did a show with Jordan Jesse Go which I started listening to for awhile. They did an interview with Chris Hardwick who does The Nerdist Podcast. He interviewed Scott Sigler whose books I started burning through. While burning through his feed I found an episode of Keith and the Girl that he had done sometime last April believe. I loaded up the most recent episode and have been listening every day since. Keith and the Girl always makes my morning commute a little easier, so that I don't dread my drive in every day. Even when I vehemently disagree with what's being said, I always tune in the next day, because they always make me laugh. Easily one of my favorite shows of any genre/media.

Three years ago when I finally got an itunes account I was downloading a whole bunch of free stuff from itunes, which was basically just podcasts.

I thought the KATG icon was cute and subscribed. Out of all the other shit it was the only good one.

The show makes me so happy. I can't wait til I can buy a VIP account.

I had just accepted a new job that was over an hour drive from home. I bought my first iPod and was getting tired of listinging to the same stale music, so I searched for comedy talk shows and Keith and The Girl was the first thing that popped up. The clowning jobs they talked about were so funny. After listening for a little while, Keith was talking to Spooky on a show about The Pink Panther original movie. I had a copy of it and sent an email to Keith asking him if he would like it. He said sure so I sent that movie along with a few others I really liked as a way to say thank you for making my drive less painful. Thanks again Keith and Chemda.

I had gotten a new job where we could use MP3 players on the floor, I had never been interested in music and had been enjoying podcast for a bit. I was looking for a one that had a large backlog that I enjoy. I was searching iTunes for something in the comedy section and the Keith and the girl logo caught my eye.
After turning on the latest episode and stopping when I heard the "Prayer". After a bit I came back to the episode and I thought it was the best bit of entertainment I had ever heard.I spent the next year "catching up" with all the old episodes.
I just recently came back to KATG after a bit of a Hiatus when my wife thought that KATG was making me more angry about stupid shit like Paris Hilton and Reality shows. I couldn't stand the other shit being put out there, so I am here to stay KATG

i was looking for sex podcasts to jerk off too...erotic stories and shit like that. they were all explicit and so was KATG.

lo and behold...chemda was talking to someone, might have been patrice about might being a lesbian and how she wants to have lesbian sex...turn me on and turned me on to KATG.

That was show 400 something. i was a sophomore in high school at the time, now a JR in college...

I was familiar with what a podcast was due to Mugglenet. I had listened to a few of their shows and didn't think they had much to go on after the Harry Potter books ended so I stopped listening.

When I was 19 (2007) I received an iPhone for Christmas (this was the original with the metal back). I was at my parents house and didn't have my laptop with me so I needed something I could load onto the phone from their computer, as I didn't have my iTunes music with me. I looked at iTunes' Best of 2007 awards and downloaded a few of the podcasts. One was KATG.

The first episode I listened to was 641:Jeremymas. It had Patrice as the guest, mentioned Andy Rooney, and Christmas shopping. I was hooked and have since listened to every episode, some (873: The Greatest Story Ever Told, 651: KATG The Musical) multiple times.

I had just gotten a new video iPod for christmas and was looking for podcasts to listen to. The only one in the top ten of itunes that seemed to be any good was The Ricky Gervais Show. I was pretty discouraged because it seemed like every new podcast I tried to get into was pure shit. Finally I ran across a review of KATG and decided to give it a try. After the first one, I quickly became addicted and went back and listened to all the back shows over the next few weeks (This was back in the 170s). Since then i've heard every show atleast once, purchased both books, the audio book, and most of Keith's standup. KATG has been a part of my daily life for going on 6 years now, and I can't wait to see what they do next.

iTunes

I was browsing podcasts, having never listened to one before. Keith and the Girl was "new and hot" that day or whatever gets a podcast on the front page of iTunes. The first show I downloaded was 1127: Stereo Crazies with the first appearance of John F. O'Donnell. I was so confused but I had to know more. I've been listening ever since. I can't believe it'll be two years this winter.
