Dumbest thread title award.
I'm an atheist and I never get malicious software. ----------------------- It sounds like you just have adware/spyware. It's possible that you (or your boyfriend) picked it up someplace other than this asshole (likely a toolbar, screensaver, free game, or torrent). All of the shared computers at work get this stuff all the time. Free spyware tools usually do an OK job of removing it. Microsoft has one for windows (spyware, not antivirus) and most ISPs provide some sort of tool for removing spyware. Don't download any software that doesn't come from a trusted source. I'd be shocked if there weren't free antivirus programs that are actually viruses. Look in reputable newspapers and magazines for antivirus recommendations, but I'd just get and use the microsoft one first (you know you can trust it and should be able to get it through Windows update for free if you don't already have it). The microsoft one is called windows defender and should be visible in the control panel if it is already on your machine. If you are naive enough to open "free" internet software or attachments that you don't trust 100% then you should probably get one of the pay-service antivirus programs from a retail store. |

So you're a Mormon who supports gay marriage. Do you just go nuts sometimes and break all the rules and have a Pepsi while smoking a cigarette? I'd also like to know if you think that you can baptize dead people? And one more question for fun. How many levels of heaven are there?

I also forgot to say that Yerabiggerjokefool is actually a chud in a Rockabilly band. It's amazing that he can work the interwebs, he isn't going to be able to create an undetectable super virus and remotely infect your computer with it.

Didn't read the OP but yes, it sounds like you have malware. Run Spybot S&D in safe mode. If that doesn't work, I'd suggest running Winsock XP Fix, it has fixed hijacking issues I've experienced on computers in the past.
