That's tragic. To this date I've never broken a piece. One time this bugging out tripper took my ex's bong and tried to smash it on the desk. The desk broke but the bong was in one piece. It was a hearty red rasta one footer.
This week I burned from my small magnetic pipe on the side of a mountain and watched the pretty red and yellow leaves dance in the wind and rain. |

and to fallingwindows, isn't it a great feeling when a pipe/bong doesnt break? I imagine its how parents feel when watching their baby fall (or dropped). |

babies bounce better then glass pipes. so i suggest trying to catch a glass pipe and letting the baby fall. plus if your baby breaks it cries and not you. sorry for your lost, pm me dmost and we'll figure something out.

for glass breakers: all you have to do is soften the impact of the glass on the ground. i don't know about everyone else, but my instinct when i drop something is to try to catch it on top of my foot. i'll never be able to fully catch something on top of my foot, but it makes the drop to the ground a lot shorter.
worst feeling: when you see your pipe falling. it bounces once without breaking, YEAH! then bounces again without breaking, OH SHI.. YEAH!! then shatters on the ground, FUUUUUUUUUCCCKKK! it feels so slow motion that you actually have all these thoughts in your head during the 2-second tragedy. |
