Minority Report
China Tries Its Hand at Pre-Crime - Bloomberg Business

China is building a computer platform that predict crimes before they happen, like the minority report.

They do this by cross referencing information from bank accounts, jobs, hobbies, consumption patterns, and footage from surveillance cameras and obviously not constrained by privacy legislation.

Obviously they won't have stupid plot holes, like in the minority report where the female psychic was always right when the three disagreed. If that's the case then the other two served no purpose, it was fucking dumb.

I liked the movie better than the book. Interesting idea for a story, but bad writing.
