The Intern Mike appreciation thread

I know this subject has been discussed a fair bit in the show talk forum, but I thought it deserved a thread here.

Just wanted to give the message to Mike that it would be a real shame if he stopped appearing on the show etc, it's good to have variety and I think his presence helps to keep things interesting.The guy obviously makes a few social faux pas' which rub people the wrong way, but dont we all do that sometimes?I think he is still a likeable person, and I respect the fact that he holds a lot of his opinions and beliefs strongly even though he is clearly insecure.

Too add to that, his retarded beliefs about the Wii fit are an obvious source of entertainment and hilarity.

I realise that the haters will post on this thread too, but Im hoping that there are other people that will echo what Im saying.Post here if you want to show some support for the intern.

Mike could have such an easy time of it if only, whenever he speaks in a loud voice or says "no, I'm not": Stop, back up, and try again.

Mike seems cool. I've PM'd him before with a question, he was real friendly.
I think the big thing seems to be when Keith reads his notes and uses a specific tone and cadence that comes off a little douchebaggy.

I doubt Mike is thinking and writing it the way it's being read.

Oh, I think he's got some douchebag in his soul. It may only come out to people he sees as different or scary (gays, girls). It seems like most of it comes from his youth - he's just a little slower than some to mature. Meh. So was I.

I do think he's got a good heart, just needs to learn to take criticism better. His buttons are too easily pushed.

Keith reads it that way for a reason...that's the way Intern talks a lot of the time, so if you read something he writes, you're gonna hear that in your head, whether it's intended or not.

never cared for any of this posts, and only know about him from stories I've heard from people who interact with him on the east coast... don't care for him from that either.

Maybe if I met him, I'd have a complete oppinion. Till then, he's just some awkward kid living his awkward life? i dunno growing up i guess.

I just think that he is a little awkward, but I think that he will grow out of it..... Or at least I hope. I kinda like him.

The problem is he ends up on the opposite side of people I like, like Spooky, SPE and Keith, so I end up rooting against him in those confrontations, but I don't think he's a lost cause and I don't dislike him.
