Jobs in Ottawa

This is a random shout out to those who dwell in the Capital of Canada. I'm having troubles picking up a part-time job while I'm going to Ottawa U.

I've hit all the usual places nearby, retail stores, coffee shops, but no avail. The situation is getting pretty dire, any suggestions of where I could check things out? Or if you possibly have some pull and could recommend me for somewhere that would be amazing.

I have extensive retail experience, and am going back to school a little later on in life. I'm 25, looking to have something fun to do while I go to school.

I would suggest looking within the City for part time jobs, depending on your quals you can do some good CSR hours, they max at 24 hours a week, but it's not bad and being in parks and recreation it can even be fun. Also if you are good with kids and have some experience there are program leader positions that pay quite well, better than a retail store. You just need to have CPR/1st Aid, which if you don't they will send you on training and you need a background check but you can get that the same day you apply at Elgin.
