You'll notice as you study the differences between UK and US terms for things that the British terms tend to be a little more antiquated. That might come from them being 1000+ years older than us or stubborness but when you call a truck a carriage...it might be time to change a few terms around.

Aren't you the same guy saying we are allowed to keep our "u"s and other non-American spellings? Now you think we should change entire words? Quite the turnaround ...

BTW - I say truck, not carriage
