Ok, so yesterday we started our day with laundry. It was 30 euro to do our laundry, OUCH! And we didn't really even need to do it, so whoops.
P1030343.jpg Then we went to Murano, which is the island of Venice that has all the glass. There are literally 100s of shops all in a row selling much the same thing...except this one... P1030350.jpg The boat ride back from Murano to the main island and our hotel was epic, but it was a very pretty view... P1030360.jpg |

And then today we caught the train to Milan. I don't have any pics of that, but on the short walk to the train station, I realised that I didn't have any pics of the other things that Venice are famous for: masks and gondolas:
This is our daily routine: get up, shower, breakfast and then begin the process of reassemlbing all our crap into our packs. For some reason Meagle's pack seems to be getting lighter, while mine seems to be getting heavier (hmmmm!). So this morning I jettisoned a couple books, only one of which I had read (you can see them there on the nightstand, bottom shelf)... P1030366.jpg The masks, they are EVERYWHERE. And you can pay as little as 20 euro up to 100s for one. I think they are collectively ugly... P1030369.jpg And the gondolas...expensive and tacky. I guess more for romantic couples rather than crazy singles like us... P1030371.jpg
