Hurrah! It's 2008!

This morning was spent navigating the train/metro system to find our new hotel (we didn't like the old one much)...It's actually not as easy as it might seem, but we make it look fun at least

Our train arrives...unfortunately we second-guessed ourselves - got off this train and got on another, ending up in the wrong place. We resorted to a taxi in the end.

Sooooo, after we got to our new hotel (which is awesome ftr) we went looking around Athens. The Acropolis and Plaka's Gate were closed cause of new years but you could still go to some places around them, they were equally exciting

So what Bebe failed to mention about our new hotel is that it has obviously been designed with couples in mind. I have never seen so much wall space taken up with mirrors in my life. Pretty much the entire wall behind the head of the bed is a tinted mirror AND (in Bebe and Meagle's rooms but not mine) there is another large mirror on the wall at the foot of the bed, which has been set at such a height and angle that it can really only serve one purpose ...


Shame really that we are all singles
