Most of the rest of today was spent on a train from Milan to Lyon. It was a 5 hour trip, but we were in the first-class carriage so it was all good

yeah, i figured that. but i thought that each city in italy would have their unique flavor. like, milan has pasta but it's completely different than venice's because they use basil picked by blind nuns, or some other stupid shit like that. guess it's all just dough, tomato and cheese.
