Dee, Stuart and others have been discussing this in the Book poll thread and we had settled on the 31st earlier, and I'm sorry if you all missed the assignment
WTF? This ain't school! I'm OK with Sept 7th if it brings in more readers. Dee / Stuart? |

Ohh, Good book.
Very, very weird, but good. If you are interested in the soundtrack (kinda) of the book, its Haunted by Poe (the author is Poe's brother). I preferred the "story" rather than the stuff about Truant. I want to read it again. Good call William. Last edited by ScubaSteve24; 08-31-2007 at 07:34 AM. |

Sept 7 sounds good to me, will give me a chance to go back and finish the other book i was reading. I often read two books at a time but "House of Leaves" and Stephen King's Dark Towers books dont read well together.

I read this book last summer. My word of advice is to ignore the writings of the young man who found the book. He has long footnotes that sometimes last pages, but it's not very interesting and doesn't add much to the story. I found it really tedious.

Seriously? I think the parallels between Truant and the writings of Zampano is one of most interesting points of the story. Besides, how could you ignore that? That's like only reading the dialogue of a novel and never the description.
