pee ess - the end of chapter V is starting to unnerve me. More in anticipation of what's to come than to what has already happened.

Nutty bat my arse.

Definitely agreed. Danielewski is really good at building tension and instilling nuggets of fear.

it looks very weird you read it one way flip it and then read it the other way.

I picked it up because I loved House of Leaves, and OR is not nearly as good. I couldn't even get through it to be honest. Take it from a guy who has loved HoL for well over a year, OR is too obscure, and that's saying something. It's just impossible to get it done.

That's basically what my friend said. I flipped through it a bit at the store and wasn't intrigued. Which is a shame. I wonder if he's coming out with another one soon? (amazon doesn't suggest that he is)

Since the school year has started, I have no time for independent reading. But that book has been on my "To Read" list since the spring. My friend read it and was totally into it.

Given the time between HoL and OR, and the amount of effort it must take for him to write and lay-out his books, I wouldn't expect a new one for a very long time.
