KATG Dreams
 

Last night I had a dream where a woman showed up at my house out of the blue to be a guest on the show. She said Keith and Chemda were busy so they told her to come to me to record her spot. I understood this to mean that I was filling in as a guest host, and scrambled for a while to set up my house as a podcast studio. Pretty quickly into setting things up I realized that there's no way my recording would be good enough quality to get on the real show, especially with my shitty built-in laptop microphone and roommates blasting music in the background. I got through ~20 minutes of interviewing this woman before bailing and sending her home in shame. Podcasting is hard.

Anyone else have KATG show up in their dreams?

I've had a bunch of KATG dreams over the years. They never involved guests. A handful of sex dreams with Keith, maybe being interviewed on air and having to defend something. But most were just hanging out somewhere. Last one I remember was a few months ago. Dreamed I met Keith Chemda and a third person who I forget in a bar/arcade kinda place. I went there with a friend. My friend kept making bad jokes and eventually, unimpressed, K&C walk away. The third person takes me aside and tells me this was a double date and my friend was ruining it. I forget how it ended.

When Chemda busted up her knee, I had this dream that I had to pick her up from a doctor's appointment and bring her home one day because it was raining really badly. Then when I got her into her apartment safely, she was very aggressively coming onto me and trying to get me to hump her leg cast while making out, it was odd ... but hot??

Years ago I dreamt I was going to a KATG Con. I was really excited and wearing my KATG "What Do We Do Now" t-shirt. As I was walking in I noticed a bunch of people walking around the convention floor with BroLo fros, tight jeans and scarfs. I woke myself up laughing.

Probably induced by all the dayquil i was chugging during the week.

Dreamt myself, Keith, Chemda and a female listener/forum poster were in an apartment I knew in the dream to be the apartment where the studio is. I can't remember the look or name of the female but I knew they were "one of us." We were taking turns playing a Nintendo 64 game set in a castle. We were sitting on the floor, cuz that's cute.

Chemda was talking about all the stuff involved with getting the new place for the studio. She planned to buy a house big enough to put the studio in the basement and it "HAD to be tax exempt and get a subsidy from the government!" Keith was moving to the bronx because he found a cheaper place than the one in queens. Just for reasons.

I’ve had them pop up a few times. My husband and I are usually in a weird version of New York trying to find their studio to sit in on a show. Once they were in our college town. There have also been times where an episode is playing in my dream. The forums has also popped up in my dreams. It’s been a while so I can’t recall specific details.

Keep your dream hands off my dream man!

I had a dream last night that it was KATG week and I was hanging out in NYC with Chemda. We stopped in a Jewish deli for lunch and she got really sad and said how she was thinking about calling her parents and she missed them. I said it was just the food talking, but if that’s how she really feels then reach out and see. Then she showed me her secret storage bunker full of cleaning supplies and Costco goods.

I dreamed it was KATG week, and there was some live show happening in a crappy bar in my hometown. I was going, but running late... but by the time I got there, I thought it was over, but it wasn't - the guests for that show were no-shows. After I ordered a round of drinks and apologized to some of my friends for being late, Keith was asking me about the different crystals in my purse, and then asked me to be the guest and talk all about crystals since whoever was supposed to be there was a no-show. But all I had were different chunks of amethyst in varying sizes.
