Just trying to talk sense to power. Sometimes they listen ... sometimes it takes a while. I like to start by using small words and simple concepts.

This topic is near and dear to my heart. We should talk about online poker regulations in another thread. Those FBI pricks took down a lot of my income after Black Friday, not to mention the balance I had on those sites.

I don't have a lot of pull on Fed regs, but I'll look into how to use a little interstate commerce clause ju-jitsu on them if we can get this through in NH.

Open tunings? Tuned down a step to C but not an open tuning.

And don't call me sad for adding content to a contest that's had fuck all participation from the vast majority. It's all for shits and giggles, brah.

Yeah the states need to come through first as far as licensing and regulation. Nevada is the only state as far as I know that allows people to play poker online for money legally.

If our bill passes, NH will allow it too. It's a really simple bill as well, which just clarifies that poker is a game of skill, rather than one of chance. The beauty is that by demonstrating this mathematically, it exempts poker from the rest of the NH gambling statutes.

Not sure if you've already saw this, but a federal judge in NY has ruled it as a game of skill and therefore not classified as gambling under ILGA.
