**iPod Video Theme 40% done**

ipodicons keeps crashing on me, is anyone doing this on a mac? i really want a KATG theme, and alterpod doesnt seem to work for me either.

Yup, I used the huar title bar for the ipod photo. Then for the red volume juice bar I looked through the pictures that were on its firmware. Right after the blue bar and the white bar that are regularly for volume there was the red one, so I just moved it to where the blue one is. Then I just resized the black bar for the ipod photo.


I'm so glad I read this thread. I'm starting to do this more and more. I might even start doing this for dumb kids in my school for $$.

Ok, i resized all the Photo bars, can you do me a favor and check them all out for me and tell if they need editing, please?

Did some other modding too. I changed the Do not Disconnect icon you see when you connect to your pc/mac. And with string modding you can also change text so in staid of for example 'Now Playing' you can change it to 'Now Rockin'

So I changed not only the icon but also the text 'Do not Disconnect', changed it to 'HUAR invasion'. String hackin is kinda more expertish but when you do it once its actually kinda simple;

Just follow this tutorial. For the changes to take place, just click 'write firmware' just as with the changing of the title bar.

I'll add this to the post. And i added to pic to the Theme.

If someone can zip their untouched firmware pictures and post them here it would be great. I deleted some of my pictures from the original firmware and want them back incase I want to switch back to the original firmware. I'm mainly just missing the title bar and the blue/clear volume bars. Please help if you can. It doesn't matter what ipod your using as long as it has a color screen. Ipod photo/video preferred though.

Please someone, I need those pictures.
