I'm in marathon withdrawl this morning. Luckily, I had to miss most of the last 4 hours so I taped them and I am enjoying 4 hours of KATG today (as I try to stay awake at work).

Hayroob - If there is a need for this file, let me know. It is about 180MB. I can burn it to a CD and mail it to the PO box or I can try to find a site you can download it from.

Last time it took a good while for the marathon stuff to post. It's good to hang on to for holidays or breaks so they've got fresh content to give you while they're chilling. So for those waiting to hear it, be patient.

wouldn't it be pretty easy to continue the marathon for a week or more? They don't both stay awake for 76 hours, they shift on and off and sleep. I love the marathon but don't get what's hard about it.
Dude, try to do a single podcast that's one hour long which anyone would want to listen to. Then worry about how hard marathons are.

Gotta add that the live interaction made it special. It's probably me, but i was having fun in the chat even with the feed down. KATGers are a fun bunch.

PS: This post miight read like a big nyahnyahnyahnyah to people who had a normal job and couldnt hang on. Sorry, guys. Unintentional.

PPS: Nyahnyahnyahnyah.

Okay, well in that case....can anyone who heard the submissions tell me if they remember one from Samantha Jones? (yes, that Samantha Jones). That's all I want to know. Cuz I definitely sent the e-mail in.

The standups are fuzzy. I distinctly recall Angie's submission because it was frackin' funny and Sparkles' submission because he had a peculiar voice and he was a cool guy.

The rest is kinda hazy.

Hayroob's voice will stick in my head forever because he became the marathon's version of Oracle from a certain point...

Too many nerd references. Jeez.

very true (although i'm having a hard time adjusting to the fact that i have to work and have a regular life again. the constant option of being able to go upstairs and immediately have a good time is something i will treasure forever).
everyone did such a great job, all 76 hours are not only listenable, but enjoyable, and we had such an awesome time promoting the book of the century.
thank you to all that listened to matt, mcnally and I as we ploughed through the australian daytime hours.
what an awesome fucking time we had for three days straight!
