My mom got electroshock in the 90s. They STILL play that shit. Her memory is shot to shit and it definitely didn't cure her (specialty therapy did).

Wow, did not realize that was still used as a treatment in the 90s. It seems like the equivalent of banging on your computer to fix it (which I guess does work sometimes, so you can see why they tried it).
