I have all of his albums (all of them that are available on emusic anyhow).

That being said, I didn't go see him locally because the seats were about $50 (about three years ago).

Comedy shows shouldn't cost over $30 or so IMHO. There are small venues selling good seats to see regional comics for for $15. I'm not arguing that most $15 club shows are good, I'm just stating my opinion that a show shouldn't cost more than twice that of a professionally-produced video recording. I sat three feet from Pat Dixon for $25, and he's one of the best comics I've ever seen live (and I've seen my share of big-venue shows).

At those prices, there has never been a better time to buy a comedy album for $10 and just stay home.

I enjoy LB too, but for $80.00

1) Buy his stuff
2) Put it on your iPod
3) Buy a splitter
4) Rent a Plymouth Horizon
5) Go to IHOP with whomever you would've gone to the show with
6) Listen while mainlining coffee, syrup, and pancakes

I knew K cars were versatile, but who knew that that-engine and those slicks would bolt up?

and the Horizon was not a "K" platform

Yep, he does a bit about renting a Plymouth Horizon in Miami. It gets stolen and he has to deal with a cop who doesn't speak English. As he says, "verbs eluded him."

Love me some Lewis Black--funny ass dude. Downloaded some of his stand-up a while back and own his first book. Intend to buy the albums and his second book at a later date.
