You should definitely move away. It's freeing. Besides, if you do not go and experience the world for yourself, youll resent your mother for it, ruining your relationship with her.

Puts things a little into perspective - the grass is always greener.

I tried getting the papers before Easter weekend without much success so will definitely do it Tuesday. S.A. is going downhill fast, but it's just a first step before something else.
