Judging by the latest episode of clips, no it was recorded higher, but maybe the feed is a lower quality or the person who put this together lowered it to save space.

Have listened to 4 hrs now.. got to re-listen to some parts and catch stuff that I've missed. I forgot how great a guest Bobby Mitchell was.. Man he's so freaking talented and funny.. Did he ever have a sing-off with Brolo? I remember they mentioned something about it.

And even bigger thanks to everyone for being a part of history. Thanks for your support. It was cooler than we thought it could be, and so much fun.
Civil Disobedience is not about civil or criminal crimes. The civil bit is about its function as a tool of the average citizen, CIVILians. In the case of a civil law, a person can sue the state or the federal government to fight a law. However criminal laws cannot be challenged by a normal citizen except in court. A person with great means can appeal a law through legislation, but that is a very slow and tedious system designed to favor the status quo. The judicial system on the other hand is designed to be able to react to matters of current affair more nimbly. This means that a law that is unconstutional can be struck down by a single individual with a solid legal argument.
It is the sole mechanism by which people of little means can stand up against oppressive laws. What robust structure would offer individuals as a tool of dissent to replace civil disobedience.

If it's true that it is currently impossible for a regular person to challenge a law, my justice would wait until there's a better and easier system in place for the common man to challenge the law like an adult. You may not break the law to challenge it.

I still haven't heard what law you need changed so bad.

What law is besides the point, I think the cloning example I gave is pretty good. My question now, is what would be your plan for the common man to challenge a law. Making it too easy to challenge a law can cause disorder and uncertainty as to what is currently a law, but making it too hard makes it very hard for the law to adjust to societal changes. The robustness of the current system (resistant to change, but capable when necessary) is hard to replace, and really the whole reason I was asking all these questions is to find out what your new mechanism would be.

Also you are going to have amend/modify the constitution to deal with things like right to trial. Changes to those things to accommodate your new justice system might cause a lot of unintentional changes in other laws, so their would be a settling period where you'd have to work out what changes would be made and what the fallout from those changes might be.

I'm sat in one of Keith's crime monitoring stations right now... just saw someone drop a tissue from their back pocket.

DEAD!

(Although I'm not gonna call it in because it's a silly rule... "civil disobedience" you say... I'M DEAD!)

Trying to introduce Keith's 'Justice': Fucking with the LAW - DEAD!

Seriously Keith... get a new topic... punching waves is more sensible than discussing police utopia for kicks.
