Fuck Winter

I hate winter. It isn't a goddamn coincidence that the asshole of the world is a wasteland of frozen bullshit. When it isn't busy freezing my fingers off and being a dick frosting up my windshield it's dumping snow and ice on the road. I imagine everywhere north of me as an icy tundra and I am amazed anyone wants to live in such wildernesses. It makes me want to just get in my car and fuck off southways.

Winter can suck it. My first morning in my new apartment I woke up to frozen pipes and had to take a sad, dribbly shower. It was 6 degrees outside. 6!!!!! All it did last week was snow. The city didn't plow. It took me an hour to drive 10 miles.
My skin is drier than British humor. My mood is awful because it is dark out by 5:30. Does anyone like Winter? No? Good, cause then I'd hate you too. Grrrruuuummmmppppppp.

Oooh! Me! Me! I hate winter! Its not that bad here yet but we get ice storms every year which is super fun because first it rains then all of a sudden it gets really cold and everything freezes and its gets all super dangerous. You have to use a pick to get the inch-thick layer of ice off your crappy car in the morning so you can try to drive to work and not die because all the roads are covered in slippery ice so no one's brakes work and the weight of the ice causes the weaker branches of trees to fall all over the roads and your house and car and stuff. Usually people lose electricity because of what the ice does to the power lines, no heat! Its the best. And I can't dress as slutty cos its too cold.

I live in Canada....I ask myself every year...why the FUCK do I live in this shit.

Here are a list of things I hate about winter

1: Freezing rain. For those who have never experienced this imagine driving on a piece of glass that has a constant stream of water running over top of it....then try to stop your 1000 pound vehicle.

2:Snow Suits...anyone with kids gets this.

3: Slush

4:Snow clearing that piles 4 feet of snow around your car, at the end of your drive way, on the sidewalks so you can't go for a walk until March.

5: Gas prices are 25% higher

6: The deep freeze....-35-40 c omfg...skin freezes in seconds

7: Heating bills

8: Grumpy ass Canadians, everyone is grumpier in winter.

Things to like about winter:
• Snow is pretty in the sunlight
• I like 4 seasons which you can only have with a winter
• Makes me appreciate Spring
• White Christmas


To Live in Canada you have to like winter on some level or die...I guess

trust me, the crazy weather hurts more often than it helps. i enjoy taking bets every week on whether it will be snowy weather or sweaty weather.

at least up north in bad weather yall are prepared. in dallas, there is no such thing as tire chains. if there's the slightest ice or snow fall, typical texans freak out and drive soo slow.

to campy, when i think "grumpy canadian" it's equated a toddler that dropped his icecream cone. still fucking adorable. oh canadians.
