Most Kick-Ass Grooms' Cake Ever!

It would be cool if any of you "Digg" people would "Digg" the Mario cake that was at my BF's brother's wedding... It was incredibly delicious and seriously like the focal point of the reception. I've got more pics if you'd like to see them.

I know, I know. You don't like self-promotion or stupid threads or anything, but I figure even Keith would like this cake

Yep, that's the cake he modeled it from - minus the Peach and Mario on top and his was rounder, which I think makes it more Mario-esque.

No, seriously, the groom's brother (not my BF) started the Digg about it so I'm just supporting. Besides, I like the cake it's modeled from w/ the Peach and Mario on top, but I feel the roundness, like I said, gives it more of a Mario feel than the squared-off original.

Don't dig if you don't want.

I just can't comprehend anyone choosing that as their wedding cake - as a birthday cake it would be ok, but to me it just seems too frivolous to have for a wedding. It might be acceptable if it was a "gamer" themed wedding (on the unlikely assumption I would find a "gamer" themed wedding acceptable), but otherwise - nope.
