Firefly is amazing. How well the cast bonded really shows when you watch it - the characters just suck you in like you're one of the crew. Probably my #1 TV series.
Not so sure about Serenity the film though. I'd only recommend watching it if you watch Firefly and think it's so good you want more, otherwise it's just OK but un-notable sci-fi

I also agree with this. I saw "Serenity" in the theater, and went out and got the "Firefly" box set not long after. Great stuff.

Ya serenity was good, Firefly as well but alot of blah episodes too...Same guy who did Buffy Angel etc...It was alot of the same dynamics as FARSCAPE though same cookie cutter tv .

I watched that movie with my wife. At the end we were both, like, "what the fuck". Excellent movie.
