My Hulu work outs
I mentioned this on the show. Thought I'd put it here:
1) 10-minute video: great starter! I did this one for all of January just to get me in the habit and to not be overwhelmed. Watch Yoga and Pilates: AM Yoga Online | Hulu The instructor is SUCH a goober! But it's a simple video that progresses slowly and can be more challenging as you get stronger because you can do the moves deeper as you're able to. 2) 20 - minute video: This is the video I started to challenge myself to a longer stretch and more diverse stretch. Watch New Year, New You: Less Is More Yoga Online | Hulu The video contains more stretches but also has some 'non-yoga' stuff in the last 5 minutes like sit ups. She describes it as yoga but we all know what she's making us do. 3) 20 - minute alternative I wanted a different routine so I found this video. Watch Yoga and Pilates: Zen in Your Den Online | Hulu I love her! She's the best instructor! She describes the moves well and the routine is great. The only thing I don't like is that she leaves us upside down for too long sometimes. 4) 30 minute - non-yoga routine This is A.D.D. cardio! Goes quick and covers everything! Watch New Year, New You: Less Is More Cardio Online | Hulu I thought this was a yoga video when I clicked on it. When I saw that it wasn't I said I would do 5 minutes and then switch to yoga. Her routine was so simple and switched so often that I never got bored and didn't end up turning it off. The last 5 minutes are so tough that i couldn't do all of it but it was still a full work out! It's a video I'll go back to and see if I can do all the way through eventually. |
