It's going to be okay. I can't speak from specific experience because I've never been married, but I have been depressed before. It's important to just hold on until it lets go of you, which will happen. It's always going to get better, and it will not permanently be as bad as its when you're in the throes of it. That's just your mind fucking with you. Stay positive, keep your head up and know that if nothing else you've got a hell of a support group here. If you need somebody to talk to, I'm here for you.

your dog is part of your support team. they are empathetic listeners and great warriors against the depression monsters; caring for him is gentle, needful structure -- it'll make you get up and out of bed in the morning and out of the house during the day (frequent walks together are good for physical endorphin release). happy Body -- happy Mind.* PLUS he's your best friend, needs you, and contact with other-living-being Joy.
*speaking of happy body: eat well. it will help you not feel like shit. Last edited by Sparrow; 11-04-2012 at 05:37 PM. |

Thanks, Sparrow! I guess I'm going to be doing a lot of jerking off now, so I'd better get practicing more! Thank you so much for the Hottest KATG Girl Contest. Those pics are going to work as great inspiration! Next year do you think we could request GIFFs or videos?

Faaack! My parents just called me. The ONE thing I asked her is to give me time to tell my family. She called them after she left here today and told them. My parents were super worried that this was going to throw me overthrow edge and that I would kill myself. So, I had a video chat with them and basically spent the whole time trying to calm them down and reassure them that their first-born son wasn't going to off himself tonight. Fuck! It's one thing that she broke my heart this morning, but now she's really hurting me. I'm sure she did it because she was worried about me, but I'm still so mad. They're MY parents! I should be the one to tell them this. Fuck, I wish there was a live show right now. I'll need to dive into my VIP feed and listen to some old episodes.

I haven't really got any right to give advice seeing as I have never been in this situation but maybe you could do things that your wife didn't particularly like but you did e.g. eat a meal that you really like but haven't had for a while due to her not liking it? You could do the same with almost anything, watching tv, listening to music etc. Sorry if that advice is rubbish. I hope you pull through this soon and move on to bigger and better things.
