that's some sad shit. i've never known anyone that was murdered. it's gotta be 10 times worse than if someone dies of illness or an accident or something like that.

Sad indeed. People suck.

In a strange coincidence of timing, my friend's brother just left a suicide note on LiveJournal Wednesday night. His friend saw it and called police, who got to him in time. Different situation, but similar.

Additionally, I had a good friend essentially murdered. He was killed in a hit and run and they never caught the other driver even though he left his car there (literally ran on foot from the scene). The last word from the police was that the driver was an illegal and had most likely gone back to Poland. That was almost 3 years ago. I'm still pissed off. My friend was one of the best people I've ever met. I know people say that about the dead a lot, but it's no exaggeration in this case. More info.
