Need a Programmer

I'm looking for a programmer to work on a top-down 2D action game for the Google Android platform. It's controlled by the touch screen, it has a fixed camera, and it plays a bit like Zelda. I'm paying $500 plus 10% of profits, and you'll be offered work on any sequels (which should be more pay for less money if we can reuse the engine). Must be proficient in C/C++. roflharrison is working on the katg android app, he might be interested although 500 for a game is a pretty low figure.

Hey,

I don't have much game development experience to be honest. Is it a port or a new game? (I assume port otherwise you wouldn't need to c/c++ experience?).

New game. Why would a new game not require C++? It's a very simple 2D game along the lines of old Zelda titles for Google phones (the development platform is called Google Android). Google Android uses C++, so that's why I specified.

Most android apps are written in Java.

c++ is available but not generally desirable.

I wasn't aware of the NDK, needless to say I'm not going to be much help to you
