FLCL is a trip.

Also for comedy you should watch Azumanga Daiho. It's the only comedy I've seen and I enjoyed it.

About Avatar I think it would have been much much better if it wasn't made for kids. It's still good.

Death Note is a cool idea, but is definitely more akin to a sci-fi drama TV show than it is an action anime. I have all the books and really dig it, and there's a dubbed version of the anime.

I will be watching Death Note and Avatar season two this weekend. And smoking. A lot.

You just made my goddamn day sir. The cartoon was easily the best of at least 15 years for kids and adults alike. The movie made me want to end lives. I didn't realize movies could get worse than Battlefield Earth. Now I can forget the movie and look forward to more badassery. Thanks for bringing this to my attention!

Oh also, I saw people recommending anime. I'm not huge into anime although I appreciate a good one. Samurai Champloo is indeed good so far.
