BTW, this may not mean it doesn't work. Unfortunately the app is currently pulling the "live" status from a different place than where the feed is coming from. There are times when it says live, and the feed is NOT live. Just keep it in mind. If you can double check that the feed is actually live (at a computer) with iTunes/winamp/etc... that will give me a more accurate picture of whether or not its just the issue of the indicator being off, or the feed actually not working.

It was live, because it was playing through the website when I posted the last comment.

Same here - I checked stream was live before giving up and re-installing old app.

Let us know when you get a fix posted. Thanks!

Same here. My feed crashed, and I tried to listen on the phone while my computer restarted. I missed Kyle's live telling of his robbery. :-(

Just got it up and running on my new Droid Incredible. App downloaded and looks to be working fine. Will have to wait until next week though to test the live feed.

Two things I noticed that didn't seem to be working properly, 1)the embedded links in the twitter feeds don't seem to work 2)the calendar is blank. Given your skills putting this thing together I'm guessing you already knew that, but, just in case.

Other then that app looks awesome and can't wait for more updates. Good work!

The original KATG Android app works just fine. I streamed the marathon on wifi and 3G just fine.

You can get it here.

IF that's the concensus I'll go back to the old way of streaming. The problem with it is it creates huge files on your sdcard (loog in the /nagare ? folder) and it has a bit of a hickup due to the way its passing the files to the MediaPlayer.) It bugged me which is why I've been trying to find a way around using it. Unfortunately my solution only works for some people. I've got a new method of grabbing the data almost worked out that should work for all phones, but as Tech says if my app doesn't work go back to the other one. In fact he could quote me on that (said it here). Since I said it before.

2 questions:

Do you notice the hickup with the old app streaming?

Are you annoyed by the space its using on your SD card?

If I'm solving problems that no one cares about, I'll stop.

I was having issues streaming with StreamFurious as well. I'm not so sure it was entirely the fault of the app.

If people want to try a different way to stream katg (and other internet radio streams) give this a read. I did a write up about how I do it. It may help people see if the problem is the cause of the app or just the internet radio stream.

The only thing that's not so good with my method is that I can't take part in feedback or have easy access to the show calendar. Maybe a standalone feedback app or widget would be cool.

Thanks for your hard work so far, elastoplastic.
