Newbie gamer in need of xbox360 game suggestion
 

Hey everyone!

So i'm very much a nerd and i dont play video games much. Tonight im crashing at my sisters place and her boyfriend will be gone leaving me his xbox 360 to play with. Any suggestions for some decent games for me to play to keep myself occupied tonight?

I like shooting and racing games. Like GTA.


I haven't played video games in literally years so i don't know what to rent... Give me something worth while!

or COD modern warfare ( i think its better then W@W)

Is the liberty city stories any good? I've never played that one yet.

Thats a psp game I think.

Just get GTA 4.

I would suggest Bioshock, Mass Effect, Modern Warfare, and Fable 2.

CoD 4 has a cool story, but Bioshock is the one I hear great things about

the Orange Box is pretty fun. esp for only a few hours.

going in a different direction, id say give one of the lego games a try. lego batman, indiana jones, or star wars. all are great to just throw in a have some fun. no need to learn a crazy complicated system for such a small amount of time with the system.

Gears of War is by far the reason me and my gf bought our xbox.

And surprisingly xbox has a ton of great downloadable games.

Shadow Complex
'Splosion Man
and Trails HD

All of them have downloadable demos.

Also Batman: Arkham Asylum is really good. There's a demo for that too.

Bioshock is good.

Fable 2 is also awesome.

As far as downloadable content goes Fallout 3 might be better for your money. I think they're up to about 100 hours if you pay for all of it.

I'm surprised no one mentioned Halo 3... I don't really like it, but usually people mention it on these kinds of things.

If you like driving games without the shooting, go for Dirt or Forza 3.
