I have listened all the way back to around show 150 and these two have shat upon practically every profession from teachers to doctors to lawyers. I am simply curious to see how they are going to justify not achieving their very public goals.

The book that they shat on last week (Never look fat again) is number 94 on Amazon and number 7 on the NY times bestseller list and they both agreed this book is retarded...

"from teachers to doctors to lawyers" is a pretty shitty list, the three professions are all pretty bad. In fact, lawyers are basically synonymous with scumbags.

They never shat on city planners, architects (though Keith said the Guggenheim was unimpressive), or chemical engineers afaik.

KATG have a very finite group of people they are advertising to. who all apparently purchased the book. If they got on Oprah I gurantee the book would be number 1 on all lists for a very long time. People are generally cattle and do as they are told which is why stupid Oprah accidentally got a fiction novel the number 1 spot in non fiction. there are about 200,000 thousand new titles printed in the USA a year, so KATG are indeed kicking ass. So for KATG to be number 1 over all we need to support them in every way possible, buy the book, tell your friends, get some goddamn stickers, do something lazy bastards.

They didn't say they WOULD be on top of all the lists - they were *trying* to get on the lists. Keith and Chemda are going above and beyond their call as authors to market this book, and they've done an amazing job and have sold an impressive number of books. Keep in mind, they're going against books like What to Expect When You're Expecting and eeeevery diet book out there. The shitty thing is, books on this list are mainstays - there are NO new books on this list this week.

Making the list would have been awesome, but Keith and Chemda are always setting the bar high for themselves because they're hardworkers. They're building an empire

Lets be clear its the CLIENT in 50% of cases committed the crime, lawyer didn't commit or is suspected of violating the laws. Lawyers are there to make sure the trial is fair. JESUS CHRIST. He's not talking about lawyers with integrity and spines (e.g. ones defending constitutional law), just like we're not talking about the pediatric surgeon who has to physically massage a baby's heart to bring it back to life, when discussing shit doctors.

Keep trying to convince yourself that your profession is held in high regards by the majority. It's not, and it's not going to be. When I got my DWI I knew I was guilty, so did my attorney when he took my money. He (and two other lawyers I happen to know) both told me I should have LIED to the police involving the time line of events (it wasn't your typical DWI in which one is usually pulled over or stopped at a checkpoint). There was nothing we could have done, so I plead no contest and completed what was asked of me.

Do you really think it's appropriate and ethical to advise a client to chug whiskey after an accident to hide any prior drinking that may have occurred and to then inform the police you were so nerve wrecked you needed a stiff drink to relax. COME ON. WHAT A BUNCH OF BULLSHIT. Sure it would have been "smart" in terms of getting me off, but you have to admit that's pretty scummy. The better advice that I'm amazed they didn't give me, is to just keep my mouth shut and not provide the police/state with any evidence that may incriminate myself, i.e. don't SPEAK without an attorney present. Quite a hassle, still somewhat scummy, but at least it's better than flat out lying and making shit up on the fly.

These types (yes, my own lawyer) and the other hundred thousand ambulance chasers advertising on late night TV or on the back of phone books are the scumbag pieces of shit I'm talking about. Oh, and just about every fucking politician who coincidentally, happen to be attorneys as well (most of them anyhow).

If you knew you were guilty why even bother with a lawyer admit guilt and be done with it you would have saved some money

Had Keith not said "it would suck if we did not make these lists only because the stores did not order enough" then what you say here may be true. They clearly said they expected to be on these lists.

Using Keith's logic regarding Ian's (he has never met an Ian that is not an asshole therefore all Ian's must be assholes)then because Sarah Palin is a retard (according to Keith) and her book is WELL ahead of their book, it means their book is much less popular than one written by a retarded person (Her first book as well)which mean that they are less popular than retards

It's not "Keith's logic", it's inductive reasoning, which is the we arrive at much of our scientific knowledge, or even everyday common sense.

Your example is not only stupid, it's invalid, for we clearly have a counterexample: imezru is less popular than KATG. On the other hand, Keith has yet to meet an Ian who's not an asshole.
