Well now, THAT was a race.
I am going to have to watch again because I was delirious watching live - local broadcast times - 2AM - 4AM = did I dream that?

I now hold out hope that Montreal will be a decent race ( If they fix the *^#)& track at the hairpin.)

all they need to do is throw on some heavy duty sprinklers before every race and I think it's problem solved ........

That is the reason I love wet races.

How I love hearing David Hobbes refer to "ol' Fred Alonso".
Quite a drive that, sounded foul.
And an interesting race for teammate comparisons, no?

The first 3 laps WERE great. But the lack of tire and re-fuel strategies has relegated the races to not much better than IRL status. Everyone saving engines/tires/brakes. I am not impressed.

Is ANYBODY going to be at Montreal GP ?? June 13th. DO IT !!!

China GP was an odd duck. Great passing battles. I don't get the good announce feed here in Canada. Our announcers blow chunks.

More racing in pits than on the track!

What's happened to Hamilton? Has he been watching Nascar again? Breaking rules left and right!

What's with the SC on lap 23 ?? - for 3 pieces of carbon fibre? Racing line or not. It was suspiciously helpful for MSC and Hamilton. Are they using SC to artificially induce tighter racing?

Alonso and Massa fighting in pit lane. Madness!

And what will the Iceland volcano do to the European leg of F1? Can they get the cars to Barcelona? This is going to be messy. Crossing the Atlantic in June may be tricky if the eruptions last for months as they are predicting.

Do they use Canadian commentators up your way Tech? I guess it's some dumb contractual thing, like how in NZ we have American ESPN football (soccer) commentators for the European Champions League. It sucks pretty badly. At least we get the Brits doing our F1 feed though, Brundle may not be Murray Walker but he does pretty well.

As for the race, I thought it was a pretty good show overall. I was hoping one of the Red Bull boys would make it stick but I didn't mind seeing Jenson take it too much. Alonso and Massa is what you get when you put a Spaniard and a Brazilian in the same team. Too much fire. Too much fun.
