You gotta listen to this conference call. It's brutal. Dana RIPS JBJ and Greg Jackson.

Fuck JBJ. He's such a child. Getting so drunk with power that he's turning down fights. It's not just me right? You can feel his smug, self-righteous attitude emanating from his speech.

Vitor Belfort? Are you fucking serious? I read that headline and I wanted to lift my keyboard over my head and smash it into tiny pieces.

Tell me when Vitor clamped that armbar and was cranking with all his might you weren't on your feet hollering for him to finish it. Such a weird match-up but it damn near worked a treat.

I wanted Vitor to break that little pussy's arm so bad.

Have you been watching any Invicta FC? The all women's promotion from Kansas City? It's so fucking good.

Yeah, I watched the undercard of Invicta on the website before I had to go out and missed the main card. It was coming through kind of choppy on my end but still worth watching. It's to the point now where some of these girls have really sharp technique and they're so freakin firey too. I love the heat so many of them bring into the cage.

Loved the crazy R2 comebacks from the UFC's weekend too. Overall it wasn't the best event ever but Pierce and Johnson both getting dominated in the first round before turning the tables in the second were both great drama.

I also watched a bunch of this thing with Rampage. An hour is too long for me to watch YouTube but in 8-10 minute chunks it works for me. It's very low-key for the most part but still oddly entertaining just because Page has that screen charisma and is just an inherently fascinating, magnetic presence. I also like seeing the shots of around NYC, although for you, being your back yard, it's all probably old hat.

Thanks for reminding me about that vid! I've been putting it off.

It occured to me that Invicta is running the perfect amount of events that the UFC should be doing. They seem to be running at a pace of a bout 4 events a year and that's a pretty awesome pace (maybe a little slow). Each Invicta I have been giddy with anticipation and I always make plans to watch it specifically. UFC has gotten to a point where if I miss one I don't care because the next one is a week away.

You gotta watch the rematch of Leslie Smith and Kaitlyn Young. My God it lived up to the hype and was equally as awesome as their fight from Invicta 1.

On the undercard, how about that Jessamyn Duke armbar? And that Joanne Calderwood step knee to the body one hit KO? I fucking love body shot KOs.

What a crybaby.

Then a few minutes later he goes out and decimates Stephan Bonnar inside the first round. So ... ninja/crybaby then.

You were saying ...

Yeah, they're awesome, almost like a voodoo spell or Spock's neck pinch. Bonnar said on Twitter he felt like he'd been paralysed. Calderwood's was pretty sweet too.
