Im not really sure why you are bragging that you are stealing content...
Anywho does anyone have the balls to pick Sonnen next weekend? I was edging toward it, but this last week Sonnen has been acting up for the camera different than he usually does, like he is just surprised he is there and is happy to get a big PPV cut. Less like the killer ready to win a world title. I still expect him to show up and fight but the mental advantage I feel is lost. |

All the things you are saying are still less irritating than Jon Jones as champ. You've convinced me. I'm rooting all the way for Sonnen. (I plan to be thoroughly disappointed and heartbroken Saturday evening.) |

Of course I would. And it would be hilarious if Sonnen won. Dana White wouldn't know what to do. Play with fire...
But I really wanna see Jon Jones vs. Anderson Silva. |

Watched Matt Brown vs Jordan Mein again last night. Still awesome. Matt Brown is the Mark Hunt of 170lbs. Love that guy.
Also re-watched Bendo/Gil and still too close to call. For a fight in which nobody ever looked close to finished it was still way the fuck entertaining. It was fun just to see Bendo have to fight someone who could not only match him for size and power but who could out-wrestle him. I didn't really have a favourite going into the fight but I wish Gil had won just to shake things up. Meanwhile, I got myself a new warm-up routine ... |

I think having Bendo at the top is still keeping the division shaken, not stirred. I was in the city today and by happenstance there was a UFC promo thing 1 block away from my dentist. I got to see a bunch of UFC people and listen in on their Q&A with the fans. Matt Hughes' shoulders are WIDE AS SHIT. Ronda Rousey was just as ditsy, bubbly and keeps it real when she answered her questions. Urijah Faber is the golden boy. He needs more public spotlight. He can be a crossover star. Anthony Pettis acts like I already knew him because I have plenty of friends that act and talk like him. Kenny Florian needs to work on his public speaking. Loved him as a fighter but I am not crazy about his "on-screen" persona (in this case live) if you know what I mean. His play-by-play is great but not as "friendly" as I'd like if this is making any sense at all. Last edited by Astigos; 04-24-2013 at 05:08 PM. |
