I definitely flinch more when the women fight than the men but I also recognize that generally speaking they fight with at least 50% more firey passion than the men do which results in a much higher percentage of entertaining fights. There's almost never any point-fighting or stalling in women's fights. They fight like they mean it.

I heard a theory from MMA journalist Luke Thomas that women don't get into clinch/wrestle stalemates because women's unique body composition is not conducive to excessive wrestling. He speculated that their center of gravity is lower and is more difficult to take down. I don't know what to think, but the proof is in the pudding. Women are exciting, but I think they're more exciting because it's fresh.

So hard to call the main event. I'd say Rockhold because he's newbreed like Jones/Pettis/Mendes, but Vitor has only ever lost to champions in his entire career. I was surprised to see that in his past fight breakdown. If he beats Rockhold I might have to start backing Vitor like I back Urijah Faber (Faber has never lost a non-champion fight in his life so I will never go against him in a non-title fight).

Jacare is gonna blow through Camozzi like tissue paper.

Dunham and Dos Anjos should also put the winner "in the mix".

I don't really like talking about this TRT thing because it's so case-by-case. The real question is if a real commission will grant him a license because of his last 4 fights, 3 were brazil and 1 was toronto. No way Keith Kizer is gonna grant him a TUE for TRT.

UFC 160 tomorrow night. Alot of 'necessary' matchups that don't really interest me that much. Too one sided. The best two fights to me are Cerrone vs. Noons and Grant vs. Maynard.

I don't think JDS vs Hunt or G-Tex vs Te Huna are too one-sided.

I mean of course the two New Zealanders should win, but JDS and G-Tex at least each have a puncher's chance of coming out on top.
