I hope Patrice will soon return as well. She was my first Favorite Guest (which is to say: I dig too many of the guests to every declare a single favorite, but there's definitely a battery of'em that I like the best, and Patrice was the first one to go on this list) and listening to a bunch of Patrice back episodes was how I grew to love KATG. I really miss hearing her on the show. Matter of fact, in the run up to the 24 hour marathon, I remember hearing Chemda say something like "I just looked at the guestlist and, oh yeah, people are gonna be happy" - which I took to mean as, oh snap, Patrice'll be on!

Which episode was it where they went ahead and included the mic check because it turned into Patrice telling this epic story about some run-in she had? I believe the story contained the phrase, "Oh, you'd like a gift with purchase?" Holy shit that was awesome. I've basically been hoping ever since then for a chance to quote her in a similar context.

So, yeah, I certainly hope she'll be back some day and some day soon.

(also, it feels weird to talk about someone in the third person on a forum I know they read, but it also feels weird addressing someone I don't actually know personally in the second person, like I'm presuming we're buddies or something. Does this sound as neurotic as I think it does? Ha geez. In any case: Patrice, we miss you.)

Yeah that was a great episode. I was pretty sure it was called "Cunt"...at least that's the episode that has them talking during the mic check and a quick check looks like it is.
No doubt Patrice is missed and here's hoping she comes back...or hell even start a show herself!
