poll: cutting nails in public/work gross?

what do you think? is it gross to cut your fingernails at work or in public?

my coworker was clipping his nails at his desk and it skeeved me out.

...but then I liked to collect my clippings and give them to him as a gift and he thought it was kinda cute

I usually clip mine at work, but of course I work alone, I would never do it in front of other people, so I guess with me it depends.

cutting nails in front of other people or in public is rude.

innit? i dunno but grew up with that rule. but i've got classmates who cut their toe nails during symphonic band, while our band director gives sermons.

it's disgusting.

a couple months ago i saw a woman sitting on the bench ouside one of the buildings at my school and she was clipping her toenails. the grossest part was that there was a girl sitting no more than 6 feet away from her eating a sandwich. gross. save that for your bathroom.
