My all time favorite is Sierra Nevada's "Hoptimum"

I also enjoy Pliny the Elder, though I've only had it once. And a local brew called "death by Hops"

My daily drinker is Hopsecutioner by Terrapin.

I guess I'm a bit of a hop head, but I do like darker beers. I usually brew my own porters and stouts...had to stop trying to make hoppy ales as they never come out as good as I can buy at the beer store.

Stone's barrel ages porter is to die for, but I can't find it anymore.

One of the best beers I've had in my life I had in Munich. I was, however, too drunk to remember what it was or where I had it. All I remember was I'm pretty sure it was up some stairs. I'm going to regret that for the rest of my life.

Love me some boulevard.
I will drink anything from Oskar Blues (Old Chub is fucking delicious and Dale's Pale Ale is the pale ale that showed me that they can actually be delicious.)
I was just at the Lagunitas brewery and their wet-hopped Maximus was fucking bomb. And I try to take home a bomber of their Imperial Stout whenever I hit up the liquor store.
I recently found the perfection that is the Rochefort 8 and 10.
But finally, dark beer bliss can only be found at the bottom of the Abyss by Deschutes.

Edit: Oh, I did have that hopsecutioner that crecent was talking about at GABF this year and, while I'm not really a hop-head, that shit was surprisingly good.

Well, being a completely spoiled beer brat, I prefer hand crafted jewels from local nanobreweries - like the last bottle of Peppermint Stout from Manchester Brewing I have stashed in my fridge. That said, nothing beats a well pulled stout on a hot day when surrounded by men in kilts.

On that note, most embarrassing beer related story: went to the local Highland Games with my husband and two children. The girls were little, the youngest not yet two. We ran into a good friend of mine. My little one toddled up to him, walked under his kilt and wrapped herself around his leg. Not missing a beat, he picked her up, handed her to her Daddy and said: "Och, I see the wee lass is just like her mother." Thankfully, she will never remember that story.

You can't find Fat Tire in NH?? That's weird. I thought that New Belgium had made it in all the bars now.

Thoughts on "Hopslam" from Bell's?

I thinks it's an ok beer, a little too sweet for me. Around here it's treated like fucking gold. And I fell for it. Spent a week looking for it and bought the max he would let me- overpaid. 60 dollars for a mini keg of anything should come with at least a hand job
