PS3 won't go online:(
 

I just bought a new PS3,which I absolutely love.I've only got 1 problem,it doesn't seem to connect to my speedtouch 580 wireless modem.Everything works fine up to the connection test,in which is indicated that there was a timeout with the exchanging of the security keys.How do I solve this?

this isn't going to help you, but I had the same problem with my ps3 when i first got it. I never bothered to hook it up until about a month later and using the same method it went fine. I guess it just fixed itself.

I had a problem with mine because I had Access Control setup, only this devices can connect. I ended up having to disable this feature.

Go over any type of security that is setup on your wireless router:
SSID broadcast
Encryption, WEP, WPA, WPA2 etc.
Access control, aka MAC address filtering

You might want to try disabling all security and see if the PS3 will connect. And then start applying the security features back in. DONT leave it without security.
