don't you just hate it when people say that someone doesn't "need" things, in response to someone saying that they need something

i just hate that

i say that i need things all the time, but that has to be taken with a grain of salt, people!

i "need" to get my learner's permit, but i hate it when people tell you that you don't "need" to get your permit(or anything else for that matter) to live

well, excuse me, but i didn't say i needed to get my permit to continue living! and i certainly didn't use that phrase in any other context!!

sure, saying "want" satisfies what i'm intending, but i'm not implying that someone will kill me if i don't get my permit

technically, humans don't "need" to breathe
sure, humans need to breathe to stay alive, but i didn't say that!
maybe you should try the not breathing thing, tell me how it works out

sorry, but i get out my bottled up emotion out by ranting

Wait until you're and adult and people start telling you what you and others do need. Then they start raising your taxes, taking your hard-earned money to give other people what the "need" like cigarettes, booze, cable television, heat, food, water.

Don't even get me started.

i'm just about that age when i'm getting a job finally, and i don't believe in the government taking a cut of the money earned by all of us

i believe that when you retire, you should have saved up money for the rest of your life, not the government taking money and giving a small portion back to you when you acctually do need it

Join reality; building & maintaining cities and providing services costs money.

Don't get me wrong... I am the first guy to ask questions about changes in tax rates, or surcharges... but I think you should take a look around you before spending the majority of your working years cursing every $ that comes off of your paycheque...

don't get me wrong, i'm fine with paying for things that directly affect me, but it's when we pay for stupid things that taxes oh so often cover that pisses me off

did you know that we spent one billion dollars since i think 1996(or some year close to that) to teach children abstinence, without teaching condoms and other forms of birth control/anti-spreading of STDs

without teaching school children anything but lies (it's been reported that someone said that half of homosexual males and half of heterosexual females have HIV/AIDS)

that pisses me off; that's one billion dollars tax payers shouldn't have payed
