The comment has been deleted but here is what was written, "fuck

would think this is okay is beyond my reasoning. At least he didn't
do this anonymously. I'm sure we've all dealt with this kind of thing
and worse (I certainly have) but in my experience it's always been an
anonymous poster on other sites. I'm sincerely wondering if this is
worthy of the righteous indignation I've seen you fine folks engage
in so eloquently or did I make a mistake in calling him out. What do
you all think?

I don't know, I find his Facebook address to be remarkably apt. He is the bomb, like 9/11. Which is to say, not really one at all. But he will yield to groups of men that get inside him.

I think when someone attacks your lifestyle and your woman it is natural to feel a sense of fury that indignation doesn't even come close to covering adequately. A couple of years ago I was going to the gym regularly to lose weight and I was unsuccessful at the time. My boyfriend and I were active members of the gym community and everyone knew us. One of these gym meat heads was commenting in the gym behind our backs about why my man would date a fat girl, couldn't he do better.

This is what happened, I felt ashamed and humiliated, My boyfriend threatened to kick the guys ass, we both left the gym...my dad went to the gym at night to seek this guy out for a little private justice of his own...it was a whole shit storm. The guy called me and apologized but it didn't change that in that moment when I heard the comments I felt belittled and unworthy then instantly furious and ready to kick in balls.

I think you have every right and more to be pissed and so does punkn, how dare this asshole...fuck him.

Thank you, Campy and Bob. About 10 years ago I was in a karaoke bar and chose to sing, "I will survive". Afterwards a guy came up to me and said something like, "You're a faggot for singing that and I'm gonna kick your ass". The manager knew me and talked to the guy who came back and apologized. I wasn't frightened by this guy. He was pretty small and very drunk but the words still affected me. Actually it's more the context than the words (if a friend said the same thing we'd laugh). Even though the incident 10 years ago and the one today were small, I think it's important to stand up and say something. The manager did it for me then and I'm doing it here now. That's why I'm grateful to all who do so. That's why I donate time and money (when I have it) to causes that seek to help those who are oppressed for nothing more than being who they are.
