unfortunately (I have a two week work trip to India starting this saturday) this is very true.
Saw an Indian looking guy on the dancefloor of a club last weekend that tried to creepily dance with me and my friend so I turned my back to him in what I though was a very obvious gesture of "leave us alone please".
