Dude, your blog is the saddest rambling piece of shit I've ever laughed at.

I recently changed my Twitter name so I could shed my KaTG identity and start fresh. I figured that since I'm no longer part that of that circle, I may as well start over with a username that has never been linked to my time in the KaTG community.
'Patient Mental' is the first username I started using everywhere, it's as relevant now as it was when I first started using it.. even if the meaning has changed somewhat. When I started using it in 2002, it was purely because of Mudvayne's song of the same name. I was working as a receptionist at a group house for disadvantaged children at the time and every afternoon once I finished work, I'd buy some hot chips from the Fish & Chip shop (with extra chicken salt) then go home, lock myself back in my room and eat my food while I listened to Mudvayne's, 'The End Of All Things To Come' album and forget that life at home was miserable.
Those where the days that life with my family started to fall apart. If I wasn't out walking around the neighbourhood, I was locked in my room avoiding conflict with my family. Eventually I lost my job at the group house and took up being locked away full time for around 2 years, just marinating in depression and a paranoia that my family had the house bugged with cameras and mics to check up on me when I'd come out to get a drink after they all went to bed.

I rarely lost my temper at them as I avoided all the conflict I could, that's where the 'patient' part of the name came in.. I could've done that for years if I had to. The 'mental' part I think is obviously, I felt like I was going insane. It wasn't until I moved out of that house and over to Western Australia that I was able to get out of that dark mind space and rid myself of the paranoid thoughts and 60% of the depression.

What follows is a story for another time, this post was only intended to briefly explain the name change. Serial_X isn't gone, that would be like saying a now deceased person never actually existed.. I have important people in my life that I wouldn't know if it hadn't been for my Serial_X persona. But as time moves on, things have to change and this was just one of those things. Having now worked in the medical field for 5+ years, 'Patient Mental' seemed the perfect place as any to start from.

Who knows.. maybe in a few years time, X might be revived. Highly doubtful but stranger things have happened. Until then, X is buried along side 'thefallen'.. my first ever email address.

Around a year ago, I probably would've kinda cared what you wrote and would've also called you 10 different version of a cunt, now I just see you like every other shit-talking troll. At least Junks lacks the balls to reply, I actually commend him in a roundabout way for that.

Sorry to burst your bubble dude but I haven't been angry once in this thread (much to the letdown of Bob and his desperado attempts to rile me).. or really at all in general since I left these forums. I could try acting pissy but very few of you mean anything to me so it wouldn't be genuine aggression.

If anything, seeing how much of a ghost town these forums are now and discovering my prediction that Doug would be cast aside came true fill me with even more happiness than what I already gained from giving up of this podcast almost a year ago.

As I said to you earlier, I only came here to get both sides of the Rogan/Maron interview as I've seen the comments in support of Joe back over on the RB.. and to promote an unsigned band in the metal thread.

The only 2 people I have problems with are the judgmental Junks, who hates on someone without knowing anything about them and Bob, who couldn't stick to a thread topic if his life depended on it because he's just a bitter mess with long, flowing hair like a lady. I've never had any other problems with anyone unless you jumped on the hate bandwagon before I left.. and I don't even remember who those people were/are.

It's the internet.. it's not serious business and haters are gonna hate. Whatevs, I've moved on and I'm much better for having done so.
