It actually had a fucking impact on my life. My father was working in the World Financial Centre that day, right next to where the WTC were.
I spent 7 hours that day at home sitting beside the phone because I had no idea if he was dead or alive.

I didn't care. Call me immature, but to be affected by it for any 9-11 after the first year is ridiculous (if you didn't lose anybody, of course).
