So in Star Wars, when Han Solo says he made the Kessel Run in whatever number of parsecs, and Family Guy did their special where they're like "Uhm, parsecs are a measurement of distance, not time." Well Han's statement actually does make sense, you see, the Kessel Run is dangerous because it involves going around a cluster of black holes, so if he was daring enough, and his ship was fast enough, he could actually skim closer to the black holes then other people, thus shortening the distance he would need to travel. BOOM, nerd schooled.
