To my "Boss" - The reason I can't talk to you is because if I told you how I really felt, you would never give me a good recommendation for my next job. And your passive aggressive approach to everything doesn't help the situation. Also, the manager has another job offer and is planning to leave. If she leaves, and the new guy is put in charge, most of the undergrads will leave too. Maybe if you treated your manager with respect in the first place, she wouldn't be looking for a way out of there and you wouldn't be left with one employee and 3 major projects. I agree with Marina; Suicide is selfish and the cowards way out. I just don't feel as strongly about it as she does. If someone in your life offs themselves, I don't understand how you can't come out of it feeling like they didn't care about you enough to get some help.

Of course I feel completely the opposite about euthanasia for terminally ill people. I'm all for it. I'd even help if it comes to that. I guess that makes me a hypocrite.

PS, if you are the one feeling suicidal and there are people in your life who love you, please get some help. Call the suicide hot line or something.
