Because you're a dissenting opinion.

Well yeah, just to be clear I'm not getting mad, I can get mad at a pre-judgement of the movie, but I'm not going to get mad if somebody knows that it wont be their cup of tea. Calling you a gay 40 yo was just a joke.

just saw it again. I still love it, but I understand that it's not for everyone. I wouldn't recommend it unless you're a fan of bands, girls, comics, fight scenes, and video games. you know, the spice of life.

I dug them both, but I have a feeling the only way I'll ever watch Kick-Ass again is if I'm in a situation where it's completely impossible to watch Scott Pilgrim instead.

as for the correlation, I meant mainly in the style of humor and the fact that crazy shit that defies the laws of man and physics are constantly happening but the two movies never feel the need explain how. basically, the pretty hardy amount of disbelief that must be suspended in order to keep yourself from becoming a "well, actually! sniff snort" n-word nerd.

also, I need to clarify my hipster comment. I didn't mean humor tailored to hipsters themselves, but rather humor at the expense of hipsters. I'll give you an example (SPOILER ALERT YALL) one of Ramona's evil exes is a vegan and for some reason this gives him psychic powers. Scott is only able to defeat him after he tricks him into ingesting a dairy product, at which point the vegan police show up and revoke his abilities. eh? eh?

I just want him to stop making terrible things and go away.
