Used to text & drive, really only if no one else was in the car. Even then I wouldn't need to look at what I was typing. After getting a touch-screen phone, I'll read them, but wait to text back til I'm not driving.

I've played ukulele at long red lights more than once and maybe a few times while driving...

And what exactly is white driving? Is that driving while being white or driving as if you were white, or driving down the middle of the white line or does it refer to texting and engaging in little white lines?

I personally would like to know from the people who say they do text while driving, what exactly is so damned important that you have to text back? I mean, if its really important wouldn't someone call you? Or has society gotten that impersonal? I only text period when I can't talk on a phone or it would be rude to talk on a phone. I'm definitely not that yelling into the phone in the bank line guy. If its something important though I will go somewhere and make a CALL.

I was just in a car where my driver was watching youtube. I'm like, dude, what? I mean, I'm entertained, but you, you keep your eyes on the road. To defend himself, he said "So? Some people watch porn!!" Like that made it any better. But it does.

That said, he was white.

Funny you should say that - just spotted this article.

Motorist allegedly watching porn on 401

Last Updated: 21st July 2009, 2:42am
Call it another reminder to keep your eyes on the road and both hands on the wheel.

A Mississauga man was caught by Northumberland OPP Saturday after another driver complained about a fellow traveller speeding and watching a porno movie. Yup, the eagle-eyed caller noticed the alleged speeder had an X-rated movie playing on a portable DVD player in the car's front seat, police said. "He was watching it in the passenger seat," OPP Const. Chris Dewsbury told the Sun yesterday. "It was high enough it could be seen by another motorist. He was just watching a movie."

Dewsbury said he didn't know what the title of the film was.

Police caught up with the man around 12:39 a.m. along Hwy. 401 in Port Hope. At that point, his Chevy Cavalier was allegedly doing a speedy 140 km/h on the 100 km/h road. "He's darn lucky that he was 10 km under, otherwise the car would have been seized under the new law," Dewsbury added. The officer noticed evidence the driver was possibly impaired and a breathalyzer test was administered, but he blew a low reading, police said.

Efe Osemwegie, 32, of Mississauga, is charged with speeding and operating a motor vehicle with a television visible to the driver. The charge for watching TV while driving isn't often laid, police said, and it's even rarer the driver is watching a racy movie when he's caught.
